Worm Moon

Drawing on classic 70s thrillers like Klute and Hardcore, along with British Folk Horror at its most unsettling, Worm Moon sees Chuck, a returning Black military policeman from Vietnam, traveling from America to take on the search for a teenage groupie runaway thought to be in Wales and staying in a remote cottage used by the Led Zeppelin like band, Moon Zand. With the quest resolved and the girl found, Chuck must find ways to deal with the consequences of what she has endured, and what she has become.

This atmospheric, disquieting story ultimately explores the exploitative early 70s rock world and groupie culture. As events conspire, a bloody, violent attack on standards and behaviour that once seemed acceptable plays out in an horrific, supranatural conclusion.
