Stephen began his career as a reader and script editor before joining Magic Hour Film as Creative Director, with the company producing ‘A Good Woman’ with Scarlett Johansson, and ‘Ashes and Sand’ with Nick Moran. Stephen went on to head up Development at Pebble Beach Screen Partners, a role he now carries out for 1185Films. Highly regarded as a 'script doctor', Stephen is regularly hired to improve scripts in development and pre-production, as well as receiving many prestigious screenplay commissions. A crime novelist, Stephen has recently had published Pharaoh’s Island, the follow up to last year’s Teen Avenue, again featuring Welsh detective, Elisud Jones.
